(Order form below)

What a huge day last Sunday at the 150th birthday for the Harwood Sugar Mill.

I was a guest presenter for two  cooking classes, we served 300 tastings and presented 3 dishes for each class.

It was a wonderful day, the mill looked amazing, towering over the crowd of 6000 people, hissing steam and aromas, and just being the presence that it is. The music rocked with big screens and huge sound. The kids loved the choo choo  train and all the tasty treats from our local Clarence Valley food stalls organised by Deb Novak kept the adults buzzing.

**

A few weeks ago I made something Italian with a twist, a baked polenta, parmesan and ricotta pudding, lots of people said they loved it, so I am going to make it again, however this time it will be accompanied by vegetarian “ragu” made with button mushrooms and spinach.

Dessert is a twist again a French style lemon and lime tart.

I hope to see you on Friday, if not sometime soon.

Cheers Peter
